These special lattes feature fall flavors like pumpkin, cinnamon, maple, lavender and more!. Follow along as we explore some of these delicious seasonal drinks and the magical ingredients inside them!

Apple Pie Latte

Apple Pie is a classic American staple. The combination of crisp apple filling paired with a flaky, buttery pastry sounds too good to be true. Now, you can enjoy this Thanksgiving dish in a latte-form at Driftwood Cafe!

The delectable combination of caramel apple butter and cinnamon ties so nicely with the classic flavors of espresso and milk froth.

Pro tip: Pair this drink with our apple strudel for the ultimate apple experience!

Cinnamon Maple Latte

Cinnamon, Maple Spice, Espresso, Milk Choice

Let’s talk about maple syrup! The delicious sap that is extracted from maple trees primarily in Canada. Creating a beautiful bourbon, honey color, the filtration/boiling process refines the sugars and reduces the sap into the sweet syrup we know and love.

Lavender Maple Latte

Lavender. This magical herb has been utilized for thousands of years to relieve stress, support sleep and calm anxiety. Often used in tea and aromatherapy for its relaxing properties, you may think this herb would be counterproductive paired with coffee. However, our Lavender Maple latte is a perfect balance of caffeine and stress relief to jump start your day without the jitters.

Fun Fact: King Charles VI, also known as the Beloved (and later the Mad), had lavender sewn into his throne chair pillow throughout his reign for a pleasurable aroma. This did not work, however, due to his refusal to bathe for months on end.

Nutella Latte

Hazelnut, mocha and espresso? Yes, please! If you love Nutella, then our Nutella latte is just for you. This drink is delicious, especially when paired with a fresh pastry.

Fun fact: World Nutella Day is February 5. Now that’s a celebration we can’t wait to join!

Pumpkin Pie Latte

Pumpkin Pie Spice, Espresso, Milk Choice

It’s pumpkin season! The time when various grocery stores, restaurants and coffee shops rejoice in this fruit’s savory and sweet flavor profile! Frequently associated with the pilgrims, pumpkin pie is by far the most popular of pumpkin desserts. Combining nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger, allspice and clove within a delicious custard creates the base spice flavors of the fall season.

Our Pumpkin Pie Latte contains the pumpkin pie spice from your favorite fall treat. Try one today!

Pumpkin Chai Latte

Chai is an aromatic tea tied to Indian culture and includes a variety of spices such as cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, and others depending on the region. Known for its “earthy” flavor, chai tea is often a substitute for coffee on various occasions. That’s why Driftwood Cafe had a “eureka” moment – what if we combined the earthy spice of chai with pumpkin and Counter Culture coffee?

If you love pumpkin flavor and chai lattes, this drink is a must-try.

Have you ever thought of combining the rich sweetness of maple with your favorite latte? We can tell you from experience – it’s awesome. Finished with a bit of cinnamon, you can enjoy a cozy fall experience at the St. Pete Pier
