Love is in the air and that means February has arrived! The Sunshine City is shining bright with gorgeous weather, local events and plenty of excitement. Check out some of our favorite upcoming events below:

Vintage Motor Classic – February 6

The 19th Annual Vintage Motor Classic returns to South Straub Park in St. Petersburg on Sunday, Feb. 6. Explore a beautiful selection of classic vehicles dating from the early 1900s to 1980 and exotic supercars. Attendees will vote on their favorites to select the people’s choice award. 

St. Pete’s LOCALTOPIA – February 12

Celebrate all things local! St. Pete’s 9th Annual LOCALTOPIA supports independent businesses and features arts & culture, a family zone, health & wellness areas and more. Attendees will enjoy the chance to try local food and drinks and listen to local bands on the Park’s Bandstand. Best part of all, admission is free for all ages from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m in William’s Park. 

Black History Month – Yoga in the Shade  – February 12

Join yoga instructor Hillary Van Dyke on Saturday, February 12 for a special class commemorating Black History Month. This outside class will be taught in the shade on the back lawn of the James Weldon Johnson Branch Library. All skill levels are welcome and class will be 45 minutes long. Admission is free and registration is not required. Please make sure to bring your own yoga mat and get ready to channel your inner Yogi.

Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg – February 25 – 27

Start your engines, because the Firestone Grand Prix will race through the streets of downtown St. Pete as IndyCar’s season opening event. From February 25 – 27 10 individual races from six different cities will zoom through the heart of Downtown St. Petersburg.Daily general admission tickets are $25 for Friday, $40 for Saturday, and $55 for Sunday.
