In 2021, the Pier launched its inaugural three-day celebration called the “The Fourth” to honor Independence Day. Throughout the Pier, you could find various activities for every mood like dancing at the silent disco, karaoke on the Great Lawn, food trucks, and of course – the July 4th fireworks show.

Throughout the fall, the Pier transformed just like the colors of the new season. The popular St. Pete Pumpkin Patch was a hit for the kids and adults alike. Visitors experienced one of the largest pumpkin patches in the area, featuring thousands of pumpkins, hay bales, fall refreshments and much more.

Last winter, the Pier turned into a Florida frozen wonderland (except a little warmer) called Winter Beach. Visitors enjoyed local vendors, and artists as well as activities such as a free holiday concert and beachfront real-ice skating rink! Did you spot Santa when he stopped by Winter Beach?

Art has been ingrained in the culture of St. Pete for a long time. Continuing to honor this culture, the annual Reggae Rise Up Festival features some of the top names in Reggae including Rebolution, Slightly Stoopid, and Iration. Right next to the Pier in Vinoy Park we witnessed over 20,000 attendees from all over the globe come together to the sound of Reggae.

With a resulting economic impact of over $23 million, Reggae Rose up as one of the premier money-making events in St. Pete

Sunset Yoga with the Body Electric

The Body Electric Company provided amazing free yoga classes every first Wednesday evening at Family Park. It has been amazing watching the sun setting over the big, grassy park paired with restorative yoga practice.
