Thunderbug Visits Winter Beach – January 8

A special guest will visit Winter Beach at the St. Pete Pier on January 8. Put on your Lightning gear and get ready to meet the one and only Thunder Bug tomorrow at Winter Beach from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. The Tampa Bay Lightning Street Team will also be giving away Lightning Swag. You won’t want to miss it!

St. Pete Beach Classic – January 15 -16

On your mark, get set and go to the St. Pete Beach Classic on January 15 & 16. There are plenty of race options for beginner and advanced runners such as a 5k, half marathon, kids races, 10k and more! Race times vary and kids are also welcome. Get ready to test your power and endurance with some fun on the way. 

 

MLK Dream Big Parade – January 15 – 17

The nation’s longest-running parade honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. is almost here. The Annual MLK National Parade & Family Fun Day festivities kick off on Dr. King’s birthday on Saturday, January 15 with an awards banquet and a block party. Then on Monday, January 17, enjoy the parade with family and friends. 

 

St. Petersburg Power & Sailboat Show – January 20 -23

If you own a boat or love boating, you will love the 44th Annual St. Petersburg Power & Sailboat Show, the largest boat show on the Gulf Coast. Explore an expansive selection of powerboats and sailboats in water and on land, and don’t forget about the marine gear. You can also expand your knowledge about the industry through seminars on different topics such as fishing and boat maintenance. 

Pier Dolphin Cruises – All Month Long

Make some room Dancing Queen, the MK Dolphin Queen is on her way. Join Pier Dolphin Cruises for a tour, where seeing a dolphin is guaranteed. Free beverages and snacks are provided and the tour captains are St. Pete natives who can share information about Tampa Bay and wildlife. Perfect for date night or a mini family excursion!
