We’re going to begin our night out at the beautiful St. Pete Sunken Gardens. This botanical garden sprawls through lush flora in the heart of St. Pete. With over 50,000 plants from all over the world, this scenic garden tour is the perfect escape from the busy city for some quality time with your date!
As you and your date enjoy the tropical landscapes, be sure to keep an eye out for the wildlife, as well. The Sunken Gardens specializes in bird rehabilitation, so visitors can expect to see colorful exotic birds. Don’t miss the flock of flamingos.
Not only is the Sunken Gardens a scenic landmark, but it also has deep historical roots in St. Pete. If your date loves history, make sure to check out the Sunken Gardens museum to explore over 100 years of history from the creation of the Sunken Gardens to how it helped build St. Pete as one of Florida’s most popular tourist attractions.
Admission to the Gardens is $15 per adult and most people spend about 1 – 2 hours there. Make sure you begin your date early enough since admission is last sold at 4:00 PM daily.

Exploring The Pier
Just a 10 minute drive away from the Sunken Gardens is the St. Pete Pier. Here you and your date will have a fun-filled evening exploring all the attractions the Pier has to offer. Kick off your shoes and walk along the sand at Spa Beach Park. Or admire the Bending Arc art installation as it waves with the wind above you.
No matter what you explore on the Pier, you will be surrounded by gorgeous waterfront views and good company.
