Every second Saturday of the month, The Central Arts District, EDGE District, Grand Central District, Uptown Arts District, Warehouse Arts District and downtown Waterfront Arts District unite from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for a free celebration of the arts. More than 200 artists from all disciplines and 40 studios and art galleries participate, which makes the Downtown Looper, which runs every 15 minutes, a great way to commute! Learn more about ArtWalk here.

Ales and the arts? Count us in. The SHINE St. Petersburg Mural Festival kicks off on October 16 from 2:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at Bayboro Brewing with the release of “Spraycation,” a strawberry, orange, passionfruit ale brewed to support the St. Petersburg Arts Alliance’s award-winning mural festival. This event is free, but a $5 donation to support the Shine Mural Festival is encouraged.

Witches and Warlocks Paddle Adventures – October 28

Here’s a water sport you won’t forget: on Thursday, October 28, a spooky paddle parade will wade through Downtown St. Pete. The event is beginner and family-friendly and free if you have your own gear or $40 a person for a single or tandem kayak rental. Don’t forget your pointy hats and your capes!

Halloween on Central – October 31

Experience downtown St. Pete in a whole new way this Halloween from 12 – 5 p.m. Halloween on Central will demonstrate what a car-free Central Avenue could feel like as attendees are free to walk along nearly 2 miles of the Sunshine city’s largest open spaces.
