Here at the St. Pete Pier, we want to create memories that’ll last for both you and your furry friends. That’s why Driftwood Cafe serves up dairy free ice cream made fresh in-house and has partnered with Three Dog Bakery for irresistible fresh baked dog treats.

Thanks to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA), rescued dogs getting a second chance at life are getting to join in the fun! Come along and learn about the incredible work the SPCA is doing for rescued animals in our community.

About The SPCA

The SPCA’s main mission is to serve the animals in need in the St. Pete community. They are a For-All shelter who accepts all shapes, colors, breeds, and ages. Beyond the rescue center, they offer services for all your doggie needs with vet care, dental care, educational programs, and more.

Adoption and Fostering Services

If you’re looking for a new companion to explore St. Pete who will bring you a lifetime of joy, consider adopting or fostering from the SPCA. You can even choose to foster to adopt and spend two weeks with your potential pup to see if you will work out before adopting. All their dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated.

Celebrate your puppy or senior dog’s adoption with a trip down to Driftwood Cafe for a delicious pup cup of ice cream and a cone for you, as well! If you choose to foster, walk your foster pup down the Pier and treat them to a delicious Three Dog Bakery biscuit.

Diamond Dogs

Any dog above the age of 7 is considered a Diamond Dog at the SPCA. These senior pups come with some special perks, such as free doggy daycare, waterpark days, and extra vet care. Learn more about the diamond dogs program here.

When considering adoption, make sure you take the time to check out the senior pups! These dogs are still full of love to give and love getting doted on. Meet Bella (pictured), the senior pup who got to take a break from her kennel and have a St. Pete adventure! Watch here as she got to explore the Pier and enjoy a pup cup from Driftwood Cafe!

No matter if you already have a dog to take a trip to Driftwood Cafe with or if you’re considering adopting, make sure you go support the SPCA! They are doing amazing work in the St. Pete community, and are always looking for volunteers and donations. Check them out and share the love for our St. Pete pups!
